The Partnership for Safe Driving's Privacy Statement - updated December 2007
The following policy statement explains how the Partnership for Safe Driving protects the privacy of its website visitors and members.
The Partnership for Safe Driving only obtains information about its website visitors when such information is supplied voluntarily, i.e., when web site visitors make donations to the Partnership for Safe Driving or sign up for our Action Alerts. The Partnership for Safe Driving also gathers non-specific generic information from each visitor, solely to help the Partnership determine the success and usefulness of its website. This generic information does not reveal the identity of the visitor but may include which pages were visited or which site the visitor came from.
The Partnership for Safe Driving does not sell or reveal information obtained about its visitors to anyone outside our organization. The Partnership does not send "junk" e-mail, also known as "spam." Members of the public who receive e-mail they do not want can request that the Partnership not send any further e-mail. All such requests will be honored.
The Partnership for Safe Driving has security measures in place for protecting data transmitted to our organization. The Partnership wants visitors and members to know that their personal information, if provided, will be fully protected.
